Summer Day Camp
Elementary age students, those who are entering kindergarten (must be turning five by September 1, 2026) through entering 6th grade, may participate in Grand View Summer Day Camp. During summer camp, each student participates in:
- Weekly Field Trips
- Fun Activity Classes such as STEAM, Sports and Games, Music etc.
- Educational Enrichment – Curriculum used is developed by BJU Press for each age group specifically for the summer between two grades so their minds are kept active and they are learning throughout the summer months.
- Reading Time – This is done both silently and aloud to help engage students in the joy of reading.

This is a half-day or whole-day academic-only program serving students who have completed kindergarten through those entering 12th grade. Subjects will be scheduled in either the morning (9:00am – 12:00pm) or afternoon (1:00pm-4:00pm). Your student will be assigned a time based on the subject needed.
This program is designed for students who may need additional academic support in their previous year’s classes who may need to recover a high school credit or could benefit from a small group setting where their specific learning needs can be met and addressed to help bridge the gap between the two grades so they can progress to the next grade level.
Note: While elementary and Jr. High School students do not have credits to recover, they may not move to the next grade level of a core class without successful completion of the prior class.
